These two sadhanas (prayers) form the core of our Center’s practice. This Mahayana/Vajrayana puja practice includes prayers requested by friends and relatives for those who are experiencing difficulties in life, are ill or have died; you are invited to add your personal dedications during the prayers. These practices develop and enrich an attitude of loving-kindness and compassion for all beings without exception.

The Chenrezig/Amitabha Sadhana is a one-hour long chanting and meditation practice recited in the Tibetan language. Chenrezig is the Tibetan form of the Indian Buddhist Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, who is invoked as a means to increase compassion in our minds and lives.

Amitabha is the Buddha of the Western Pure Land of Dewachen (Sukhavati in Sanskrit) whose practice is done to benefit both the living and those who have passed away.

Practices now being done in person or on zoom.
